Spartan Asia Pacific Championship
The Asia Pacific Championship (APAC) is the Spartan regional championship for this part of the world.
To qualify: Top 10 in either the Elite or Age Group categories are eligible to compete at the 2019 Spartan Asia Pacific Championship in their respective category.
Those who place high enough at the APAC championships, may be eligible to compete at the Spartan World Championships. With 3 global events, and a $1 million (USD) challenge on the line, the Spartan World Championships are “obstacle course racing’s biggest stage”. You can find out more about the Spartan World Championships here.

OCR World Championships
The Obstacle Course Racing World Championships (OCRWC) is the only independent global championships for the sport of Obstacle Course Racing. Its mission is to “unify, promote, and increase participation in the sport of OCR while celebrating its athletes and community.” Certain divisions require that athletes qualify to compete by meeting certain results criteria.
3k and 15k pro:
- In the ELITE division: Top 5 in each gender
3k and 15k age group:
- In the ELITE division: Top 20 in each age group within each gender
- In the COMPETITIVE division: Top 20 in each age group
- In the OPEN division: Top 5 in each age group
Important note regarding OCRWC qualifying criteria: “No more than 50% of an age group or a gender in a division at a specific event can qualify for the OCRWC (e.g. if an age group has ten competitors, only the top five athletes are deemed qualifiers). In the event of an odd number of finishers, the qualifying criteria is rounded up in favor of the athlete.”
