1 December - 3 December
Festival fans are set for an epic new mud and music experience, with the southern hemisphere’s first Mudtopia Festival, to be held in Rotorua, New Zealand from 1-3 December.
The three-day festival, based on the Boryeong Mud Festival in South Korea, will boast an awesome line-up at Saturday night’s concert, as well as include mud sports, mud pools, mud obstacle courses, a mud run and a dedicated mud zone for kids.
A 2km mud run will be included as part of the festival’s activities.
Mudtopia will also deliver spa and wellness activities, taking advantage of the region’s unique geothermal and mud properties. Rotorua mud is extremely high in minerals, particularly silica, due to its contact with natural geothermal and mineral waters that come from deep within the earth.
