The 2017 season of the Tough Guy and Gal series, New Zealand’s largest mud run series, came to Hamilton over June 10-11th for two days of fun running through the elements.
The series, comprised of the main Loaded Tough Guy and Gal Challenge events, spans six cities across New Zealand’s North Island. The series also encompasses the ITM Junior Tough Guy and Gal Challenge events – open to primary and intermediate aged kids – the Secondary Schools Tough Guy and Gal Challenge events – allowing students to take on other students from around the country in NZQA approved events – and the Moa New Zealand Tough Guy and Gal Championship.

Qualifier Results
With an established history in the New Zealand mud running scene, the Tough Guy and Gal series is notable for having its own Championship, held at the final event in Rotorua each year. Podium winners from across the series compete to become the ultimate champion.
The top 3 men and women from each age division in the 12km distance at each primary Tough Guy and Gal race leading up to Rotorua qualify to compete in the Championships sponsored by Moa Beer.
