The ‘Australian Ninja Warrior’ tv show will hit screens in New Zealand Tuesday November 14.
Channel Three has secured the rights to the hit show, with screening starting November 14 from 7.30pm-9.30pm.
The sports entertainment show is the Australian version of the hit US show ‘American Ninja Warrior’, itself based on a Japanese format called ‘Sasuke’, in which amateur athletes attempt to conquer a fearsome assault course to win the grand prize.
Earlier this year Chief content officer Andrew Szusterman said “Australian Ninja Warrior’s ratings for its first week on air in Australia have superseded any other non-sport show for some time. We are thrilled we have secured it to bring to New Zealanders on Three”.
The show first aired in Australia in July on the Nine Network. A second season is currently in production.
