Tough Guy and Gal 2020 Event Calendar
Event Promotions have announced their updated 2020 event calendar for the Tough Guy and Gal Challenge series.
Just getting in touch with an update on the Loaded Tough Guy and Gal Challenge 2020 as we are now out of lock down.
Event Promotions has made a number of changes to the Loaded Tough Guy and Gal Calendar for 2020. These were not easy decisions to make and we do apologise for any inconvenience that was caused because of this.
We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding through the lock down and with all of the changes that were made to these events. We are working hard to adhere to the dates above. As you all know we still have to abide by government rules and regulations but we think that we have postponed events enough to be able to host our events safely. If there are any further changes required you will be the first to know.

Hamilton – cancelled
Hawke’s Bay – cancelled

Junior and Secondary School Events

Due to Event Promotions recent update to their refund policy, not all registered participants are eligible for a refund. “Unfortunately, those entering into the event after May 21st 2020 will not be offered a refund should they no longer be able to attend. Those that entered before this date are entitled to the original refund policy.”
Championship Entry Criteria
Due to event cancellations the Championship event has expanded its entry criteria. In previous years athletes needed to podium at a Tough Guy and Gal event in the same year leading up to the Championships at Rotorua to qualify, but now athletes need to meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have podiumed at a Tough Guy and Gal Challenge event in the past three years (6km or 12km).
- Are confident to run a 10km distance in 50 minutes (female) or 45 minutes (male).
